Parents all over the world are having to work hard to support their families and quality family time is crucial to maintain a grip on what is really important. As a family man myself with children now in their late teens I still value our time spent together with many happy memories to share.
Our experience days offer literally everything - you will be able to enjoy the countryside, get exercise, and learn about communication and its importance in achieving and gaining trust. You will also be able to see true athletes doing what they love best, the Border Collie, renowned for its speed, guile, athleticism and intelligence. You will have the opportunity, if you wish, to work the dogs with sheep, to experience the same joy and passion I did for the first time in 1990 and marvel at the unique partnership between "ONE MAN AND HIS DOG"
You will see many new and innovative concepts, described in my book "Sheepdog Training and Trials" such as the "Passive Resistance Theory" and "Concept Of Opposites" and be able to apply them to your own dogs, in some circumstances.
You will also have an opportunity to meet our rare breed Hebridean Sheep, and the Herdwicks which are native to the Cumbrian fells, as well as cross bred sheep from the two breeds. The sheep are real characters and if you inspire trust in them they will quite boldly walk up to you and make themselves known to you. To earn the trust of any animal is one of the most memorable experiences anyone can ever have whether they are an adult or child.
Above all you will be exhilarated, amazed and have plenty of fun and laughter.

Payment Options
Family option 1 - 2 adults plus 1 child under 10 years
Family option 2 - 2 adults plus one child between 10-16years.
Family option 3 - 2 adults plus two children between 10-16 years
For each additional child over the age of 10 years a fee of £10 per child will apply when accompanied by two adults.
Group of 5-7 adults - £50 pp
